Nourishing whole food
Juels was born and raised on San Juan Island, WA, where she learned to cook alongside her mother. In 2000, she moved to Kaua’i and started her first business, Garden Isle Chef Services, cultivating the culinary skills and passion for fresh foods that gained her an impressive celebrity clientele. In 2018, Juels and her family moved home to San Juan Island, where she founded Salmonberry Catering, with a focus for clean and beautiful food, using fresh, local ingredients, and supporting small farms and businesses. As an active member of her hometown community, she strives to make locally organized events affordable for everybody. Above all, Juels is an artist who extends her creativity to every part of her life. She's a devoted wife and mother, an avid gardener, and a creator of fine art beaded jewelry, which she sells at boutiques and ateliers.
